Project Overview
This Tarzana full-home renovation added square footage and brought the entire house up to a contemporary standard, touching the kitchen, secondary bathrooms, powder room, and master suite in a single cohesive scope of work. The kitchen became the centerpiece of the project: dark cabinetry paired with white oak accents, a quartzite-topped island, a 60-inch chef range, paneled refrigerator and freezer, and a built-in coffee maker. The design placed in Thermador's Kitchen Design Competition and was featured in Architectural Digest, recognition that reflects how seriously the material and layout decisions were made. It is a kitchen built around how a family actually uses the space, with a large island that functions as a gathering point as much as a prep surface. The rest of the renovation carries the same level of detail. Each room was updated with an eye for how all the spaces read together, resulting in a home that feels thoroughly rethought rather than pieced together over time. The addition of square footage was handled in a way that integrates naturally with the existing structure, making the home feel like it was always this size.
