Project Overview
The site sets the terms. Positioned in the hills above the Valley, this 3,600-square-foot new construction in Encino was designed around what the land offers — long southern views, morning light, and an indoor-outdoor relationship close enough that the line between the two stops mattering. White oak, softly veined stone, and matte black run throughout: a palette restrained enough to stay out of the architecture's way.Project Narrative
The kitchen anchors the main level with dual islands, continuous stone counters and backsplash, concealed refrigeration, and black-framed windows opening to the garden. Pocket sliders connect the living area directly to the terrace, where concrete, turf, pool, spa, and outdoor kitchen are laid out with the same discipline as the rooms within. Upstairs, the primary suite opens to a valley-facing balcony; the powder room makes its own statement — a monolithic vein-cut travertine vanity, the one room in the house where a single material gets the full attention.
