Project Overview
This Agoura Hills lakehouse renovation centered on one thing: the lake. Expansive glass faces the water on every primary axis. Warm wood slats and hand-selected stone ground the interior without competing with the view. An entertainer's bar anchors the main living area, positioned so the water stays visible from every position in the room.Project Narrative
The renovation left the structure largely intact. The work was in the material language, pulling warmth into spaces that could have read cold and opening the indoor-outdoor connection without sacrificing enclosure. Floating glass shelving keeps the sightlines clear. The outdoor spaces step directly to the shoreline, with the lake as the final room.
